Sunago English Skills
Sunago English Skills (CEFR B1) is an online learning programme designed around the Common European Framework of Reference that aims to empower students with a global standard of the English language. This programme brings learners to a competent level of the English language using highly interactive, engaging and flexible lessons that encourages constant learning and language use.
Sunago English Skills (CEFR B1) prioritises the main aspects of English language including grammar, reading, listening, speaking and writing to empower learners to express themselves and their ideas effectively and also cope with less routine situations. At the end of this programme, learners are expected to achieve the CEFR Level B1.
Why Sunago English Skills?
Flexible learning schedule
This programme comprises 64 lessons. Each lesson is estimated to take approximately 30 minutes to an hour, and learners can complete the lesson anytime of the day according to their convenience.

Besides learning taking place online, learners are also able to collaborate, acquire independent learning skills and share academic information with their peers on SunagoLearn. Similar to how one learns from others on Facebook or Twitter, this programme encourages learners to use the English language to interact with each other in a safe environment and instantly apply what they have learnt

Lessons and activities
Grammar
Extensive variety of English exercises and activities to help learners build strong English basics.
Reading
Wide variety of informative and authentic articles on fidderent topics to keep the learners engaged. They will understand factual texts and recognise significant points in newspaper articles (or other media) as well as description of events, feelings and wishes.
Listening & Speaking
A library of authentic audios by native English speakers to help improve learner’s listeng and speaking skills. Learners are challenged to comprehend main points of clear standard speech used in everyday situations including radio or TV programmes. They will also be able to exploit a wide range of simple language to deal with most situations
Writing
Practice exercuises designed to help develop and prepare learners to handle business writing tasks confidently. They will learn to write to describe events, experiences and impressions.

Optional Online Coaches
The coaches will ensure that each learning milestone is achieved by the brief but effective personal attention given for each learner.

Collaboration with Peers
To help learners practice their English skills with their online classmates through the online learning platform, Sunagolearn.

Develop Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and Soft Skills
In addition to the comprehensive digital content offered in Sunago English Skills (CEFR B1), the programme also helps to develop crucial higher order thinking skills through some of its prescribed exercises and activities, which challenges learners to think critically and with a problem-solving mindset. Soft skills such as collaborating with others and independent learning – which can be applied beyond the classroom – is also offered through the SunagoLearn platform.
